Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
We will welcome you at the airport and drop you to the hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu-Nagarkot
After breakfast today you will visit the famous Boudhanath Stupa, Tibetan in origin and one of the holiest of Buddhist sites in the world. Then drive to Pashupatinath, the temple of Lord Shiva. Witness daily rites and rituals at the holy site and learn about Hindu traditions. In the afternoon you will be driven to Nagarkot to enjoy panoramic view of himalayas. You will enjoy the majestic sunset view and spend the night in a resort in Nagarkot.
Day 3: Nagarkot-Bhaktapur
Wake up early today for magnificent sun rise over the Himalaya. After breakfast you will drive to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO heritage site best known for its traditional art, architecture and culture. You will visit historical Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you can have a close watch on Golden Gate guarded on either side by huge status of lion. Moreover, you can explore tradition and culture of Newari community.
Day 4: Bhaktapur-Rafting-Chitwan
Your day begins with breakfast at your hotel. A private vehicle will take you on a two and a half hours scenic drive to the starting point of rafting. Following short rafting, you will be provided picnic lunch. Rafting resumes after short rest. Back to your camp and transfer to Chitwan hotel. You can do some extra activities like village walking, swimming or just relax in the hotel in the evening. You will be served with freshly cooked dinner in the evening at the hotel.
Day 5: Full day at Chitwan
Today, you will go to Chitwan National Park for full day jungle activities where you will explore the wildlife, nature & scenic beauty. This is an excellent opportunity to see different kinds of wild animals, Bird watching, and seeing the rare species of crocodiles, deer, rhinoceros, boar, monkey, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger if you are lucky.You will have village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more about their lifestyle. There will be Tharu culture dance presentation by the local villagers which you will also participate in.
Day 6: Chitwan-Pokhara
After breakfast drive towards the small town of Pokhara, popularly known as lake city, in the western part of Nepal. Breathe fresh air and enjoy the staggering beauty of world’s beautiful mountains. In the afternoon you take a boat ride across Lake Fewa for the best views of the Annapurna mountain range. Enjoy the sunset in the evening.
Day 7: Pokhara
Pokhara will offer you an opportunity to experience the joy observing the majestic view of Himalayas,magnificence summits like Machhapuchre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu etc. Lunch break time and then boat ride at Phewa Lake (second largest Lake of Nepal) to reach the Tall Barahi temple. Beside this you'll also enjoy the David's fall, Gupteswar Mahadev. Return back to hotel and dinner at the evening.
Day 8: Trek to Eco Village
You will drive to Hemja (about 30 minute drive) after breakfast. You will commence your trekking to Annapurna Eco Village from here. The eco village is the concept to provide travelers with a traditional Nepali village experience with an ecological base. You will experience traditional Nepali culture in clean environment with limited rural amenities. From the village you can have panoramic views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Pokhara valley and the surrounding countryside.
Day 9: Eco Village to Pokhara Trek
In the early morning we get a spectacular sun rise over the Annapurna range. Watch the mountain peaks turn to shimmering gold. Enjoy such memorable moment, taking breakfast with the good views of the Himalaya. Climb down to road and drive to Pokhara.
Day 10: Pokhara-Kathmandu
You will drive back to Kathmandu. It takes about seven hours. You will travel along the river, through village and rugged countryside.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to international airport and fly to onward destination.

The best way to greet locals in Nepal is to join your palms at your chest level and say “Namaste” with a smile in your face. Its the best way to show true respect to any Nepali people.

What are DOs and DON’Ts in Nepal?

Public display of affection is often offensive and is taken as vulgar act in Nepal. Especially, do not kiss in public. However, the healthy hugs are considered okay; still the tight cuddles sometimes demonstrate the sensual feelings and we strongly advice not to do this in public places.
Female visitors ought to be conscious about dresses in Nepal. It is not advised to travel in skimpy, skinny and revealing outfits.
Do not ask for the beef while you are in Nepali restaurants or houses. Cow is a sacred animal for entire Hindus in Nepal. Other communities also normally do not eat beef.
Do not urge your guide or any Nepali to eat from your plate or do not eat from theirs as well, this is considered as an improper etiquette in Nepal.

While entering the houses, temples and monasteries in Nepal, please make sure you have your shoes off. In temples even the leather items are prohibited. Some of the temples in Nepal do not allow the people of other religions. So, make sure you get the permission before you enter these temples and monasteries. Do not try to take the photographs in strictly prohibited places hiding it from the officials; it may cost you your camera or some financial penalty. Please ask before you take the pictures.

Where and how do I exchange my money into Nepali rupee?

You have got a lot of money ex-changers in many places especially in tourist areas like Thamel, Boudha etc. In addition, hotels and banks also provide the service. So you can go to any of these places for money exchange. However, money exchange service is very rare in the rural areas. So, it’s sensible to exchange while you are in cities.

Do I need a travel insurance?

Yes. If you are travelling to Nepal, choose a travel insurance that covers theft, loss, medical problems and emergency repatriation, including helicopter evacuation for trekkers.

What is done in emergency cases?

In case of emergency, the one and only priority of the company is to evacuate the traveler from the place and rush to the hospital as earliest as possible. In most of the cases, rescue and evacuation in done by helicopter. So, for this purpose traveler needs to have the insurance that covers rescue and evacuation by helicopter.

Is shower facility available along the trek?

Most of lodges provide shower facilities for some extra charge.
