Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple is a Hindu shrine at Kuri village in Dolkha District of Nepal. It is situated in Kalinchowk VDC in Dolkha at the altitude of 3,842m from sea-level. It’s a part of Gaurishankar Conservation Area from where two rivers SunKosi and Tama Kosi River are originated. It is famous for for Temple, panorama views of Mountains and snowing activities. Most of the people visit this place in winter season and it is the best nearby place from Kathmandu to enjoy snowfall.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Kalinchowk (6-7 hours)
    Today you will have 7 hours drive to Kuri Village (Kalinchowk) . We will have a good sunset views in the evening. Overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Kalinchok Mata temple darshan, Dolakha Bhimsen temple darsan
    You will enjoy early morning sunrise view and panorama view of Gaurisankar range mountains from top of the hill. You will visit Kalinchok Mata temple and Dolakha Bhimsen temple and have a Lunch.After Lunch, you will drive back to Kathmandu.
