The Journey Begins Here

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu (1350m)
    After your arrival in Kathmandu airport, we will come to pick up you and transfer to your booked hotel by our private car.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley City Tour.
    We will have a wonderful city tour of Kathmandu valley. You will visit some of the UNESCO Heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.

  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1550m/5100ft) 7-8 hours drive
    Today, we drive to Syabru Bensi. The scenery of foothills and ridgeline vistas goes through the Trishuli Bazaar, Betrawati and Dhunche.

  • Day 04: Syabru Bensi trek to Lama Hotel (2450m): 6-7 hours, trek
    The first day excitement trail crosses through the Bhote koshi . Afterwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche and at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel.

  • Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Mundu(3,540m), 5-6 hours,trek
    We start our trek towards Mundu. We walk through forested area and cultural villages.

  • Day 06: Trek from Mundu to Kyanjin Gompa(3,870m), 5-6 hours
    We pass along chhortens, mani walls, prayer flags; all of them representing the Buddhist cultural traditions. When we reach Kyanjing, we will be welcomed by spectacular view of mountain peaks.

  • Day 07: Acclimatization and Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa
    Today is our free day in Kyanjin Gompa. We go for an amazing hike to Tserko Ri that stands at 5,000 meters above sea level. Stunning views of the mountain peaks along with a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas make our day wonderful. Later, we trek back to Kyanjing village.

  • Day 08: Trek to Naya Kanga/Ganjala chuli Base Camp(4,400m)
    After exploring Kyanjing Gompa village and hiking to Tserko Ri for a whole day yesterday, we start our trek towards Ganja La Base Camp. We cross Langtang River and start uphill trek through rhododendron forest towards Ganja La Base Camp.

  • Day 09: Hike up to Ganja La/Naya Kanga High Camp (4,960m)
    We are trekking to the high camp today. We set off on a gentle paced walk towards the destination for the day. We are taking it as an easy day walk to the high camp.

  • Day 10: Summit Day (5,844m), Back to Base Camp
    It is the highlight day of the trip as we are going to summit Ganja La Peak that stands at the elevation of 5,844 meters. After some strenuous efforts climbing to the summit of this impressive peak, we arrive at the summit to view breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks in the region. We spend some awesome moments at the top and later start descending towards the base camp to stay overnight.

  • Day 11: Trek to Kyanjing Gompa
    After the summit adventure, it s time to trek back and we are heading to Kyanjing Gompa today. The trek back down to Kyanjing Gompa is feels easier as compared to the adventure effort up the peak summit.

  • Day 12: Trek to Lama Hotel
    We follow the same trail back following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela.

  • Day 13: Trek to Syabru Bensi
    The trail offers magnificent views of red pandas, boar, monkeys and various species of birds. Here, you can enjoy the amazing landscape and the magnificent nature with splendid views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and its ranges.

  • Day 14: Trek to Dhunche(1,765m)
    We are trekking all the way back to Dhunche for overnight stay. It s a long day of descending in elevation, with the trail involving ascent and descent.

  • Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu
    We get ready for early morning start to drive back to Kathmandu. The same road that we took earlier to go to Syabrubesi to start the trek takes us back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 16: Departure Day
    We will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and wish for your Safe journey.

what is peak climbing?

Peak climbing refers to a mountain or hill peak that has to be attemp by climbing. Trekking peaks are generally between 5500m to 6500m. We can get the climbing permits from Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).

How difficult is climbing a peak in Nepal?

Peak climbing difficulty depends upon the peak. There are easy level to technical and challenging level climbing peak, any participants with good physical can climb any peak.

Who will lead me during climbing?

A licensed, trained and experienced Climbing Sherpa Guide will lead you while Peak Climbing.

Can I buy my equipment in Nepal?

We recommend you buy all the climbing equipment with your guide in Kathmandu. It helps to save money and you will be buying only reasonable equipment.

What is the best season for trekking peak?

The best season for trekking peak is in September and October | March April and May.

What will be the food and accommodation?

During the access trek you will stay in a teahouse. After you reach basecamp you will be do camping and your climbing guide will prepare high altitude food.

Is communication possible while climb?

In case of a climb, VHF or satellite phones are available at the base camp. In both cases, weather can play an important role in communication.

Do I need travel insurance?

How much time is generally required for trekking peak?

It depends upon the difficulty level and height of the peak, weather and individual’s ability to cope up with the environment. Normally, the ascent and descent between base camp and peak will take one to two days.
